April is almost here, which means one thing for golf lovers—The Masters! If you're lucky enough to attend The Masters in Augusta, GA, in 2025, planning a watch party, or simply dressing for the occasion, this guide will help you put together the perfect outfit that’s both stylish and practical.
Last year, I had the absolute dream experience of attending The Masters in 2024, and let me tell you—it was magical. From the breathtaking course to the tradition of the event, every detail was unforgettable. And of course, I had to plan my outfit accordingly. If you want to show up in style while also feeling comfortable for a long day of walking and spectating, here’s what you need to know!
1. The Elevated Theme Look: Soft, Subtle, and Chic
When dressing for an event with a theme, I always think it’s more stylish to subtly incorporate the aesthetic rather than go all out in the most obvious way. So, instead of wearing head-to-toe green, I opted for a Maeve Pistachio Matching Set—a colour that perfectly blended with Augusta’s lush greens while still standing out.
Best Colours to Wear to The Masters:
- White/Cream
- Pistachio
- Butter yellow
- Aquamarine
- Pastel shades
These colours are fresh, classic, and elevate your overall look while complementing the beautiful scenery. Plus, they look amazing in photos.

Pro Tip: Keep your outfit breathable! The Georgia heat in April can be unpredictable, so opt for lightweight fabrics like cotton, linen, or performance blends.
2. Accessories That Elevate Your Look
Accessories are everything when it comes to styling a golf event outfit. Here’s what I wore:
-
A mini tote bag – Light, functional, and secure, with a snap closure to keep everything in place. Perfect for carrying essentials like sunscreen, a water bottle, and sunglasses.
-
A hat – I knew I wanted to buy something from The Masters shop, so I waited and bought a green Masters hat once I arrived. But if you already have a neutral-colored hat, it’s a great addition!
Side note: This outfit got so many saves on Pinterest, so if you're looking for an outfit that others will love and recreate, this is it!

3. The Cream Matching Set: Chic & Practical
If you’re attending The Masters, just know—you will be walking A LOT. Between following your favorite players, grabbing food from the concession stand (hello, pimento cheese sandwich), and shopping for merch, comfortable footwear is essential.
What to Wear for a Long Day of Walking:
Comfy sneakers – Choose a pair that offers support since Augusta’s grounds are hilly.
Proper socks – Make sure they won’t slide down or cause blisters. (You will love our best selling socks)
A neutral matching set (Cream Harper Set) – Effortless and stylish, with a pop of colour for a little fun.

One regret? Not buying The Masters straw hat! It would have been the perfect finishing touch to my look.
4. The Preppy Classic Look
For a more classic and elevated style, a linen matching set is the way to go. It’s breezy, timeless, and perfect for Augusta’s warm afternoons.
Better Footwear Choice:
✔️ White sneakers with a platform – A little height for my fellow short girlies while still being comfy.

5. The Feminine Sporty Look
If you’re someone who loves bows and a sporty-chic aesthetic, a long-sleeve athletic dress is perfect!
Why This Outfit Works:
✔️ Flattering and comfy – Built-in bike shorts offer coverage without feeling restrictive.
✔️ Great for changing temperatures – The long sleeves help with the cool mornings and shaded areas.
✔️ Pairs well with a ponytail sun visor – This protects your face from the sun while keeping your look put together.

This outfit is perfect if you want something a little different from the traditional Masters look while still feeling stylish and practical.
6. What Not to Wear to The Masters 🚫
Let’s talk about what not to wear because some things just don’t belong at Augusta National.
❌ Leggings – One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing leggings on a golf course. This is not a workout class; let’s keep it elevated!
❌ Jeans – The Masters is all about class and tradition. Leave the denim at home.
❌ Overly casual outfits – Even though The Masters doesn’t have a strict dress code for spectators, it’s an event where dressing well shows respect for the tradition.
It’s literally a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many people—why not dress for the occasion?
Final Thoughts: Plan Your Look & Enjoy the Experience
Attending The Masters was an unforgettable experience, and dressing for the event made it even more special. Whether you're heading to Augusta or just celebrating from home, I hope this guide helps you find the perfect look.

PS: One of the best things about The Masters? Seeing the men’s bathroom line being way longer than the women’s. That was truly a moment of victory.
